History[]
Becomes a Green Lantern[]
Hal Jordan was a human who became a Green Lantern, possessed by the Power Ring. He was trained by Thaal Sinestro later turned on the Corps forming his own Corps the Sinestro Corps. Hal became one of the greatest Green Lanterns and became friendly with the Rann and Thangar people.
Justice League[]
At some point, Superman, Batman, The Flash, Green Arrow and some other heroes tried to recruit Hal to form a team of superpowered individuals, he refused it first.[1] But later, he joined the team and shared a good friendship with Ollie Queen, also known as Green Arrow.[2]
Possessed by Parallax[]
When the Rannians and Thanagrians sought to end the war between their planets through a joint project of sharing Ranns zeta beam technology with Thanagar Hal Jordan was chosen to oversee the endeavor to ensure peace between the races. At first things were going smoothly but went wrong that resulted in Thanagar being transported to Ranns space, damaging the ecosystem and restarting the war. This was the work of Sinestro who sabotaged the experiment and sought to destroy Hal Jordan, but not before the Green Lantern sent his ring to find a new host. But a far worse fate awaited the fallen hero, one that would damn his legacy forever.
Sinestro infected Hal with an entity called the Paralax, it possessed him and corrupted Hals mind, brining out the darkness that was inside of him, his contempt of the universe in a constant state of war and chaos. He joined Sinestro in a siege of Oa, destroying the Guardians and the Green Lantern Corp, what happened next even he could not foresee. Hal believed himself the better care taker of the universe and so he took the rings of the other dead lanterns and stole their power for his own. He turned Sinestro into his acolyte and formed a plot to use the war between Rann and Thanagar to his end, to steal the Zeta Beam technology and use it to bring order to the universe as a god.

- In the Tomorrowverse. Jordan became infected and possessed by Parallax and was responsible for destroying the Green Lantern Corps with Sinestro. However, unlike his comic book counterpart, he did not try to rewrite history.
- He is voiced by Nolan North who previously voiced him in Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths.
- in justice league crisis on infinite earths part 3 Aya and Razor reveal that they are natives of Earth 1 and old friends of Hal implying that some variation of Green Lantern the animated series occurred in the Tomorrowverse
